Julie Sneeden works as an Illustrator, Artist and Designer, and enjoys the creativity of working in various media to bring her Artworks to life.
Her book illustrations are inspired by the words and tales of imaginative authors. She uses colour, light and creativity to bring her illustrations, sketches and paintings into these magical worlds. To make the character of her images come to life, she is able to draw upon a palette of different tools, namely, watercolour, pencil, charcoal, digital illustration, photography and oil paints.
Julie Sneeden studied Fine Arts in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, but now lives in the UK with her husband and four children. She also works as a Graphic Designer and Artist, but it was through reading stories to her children that inspired her over the years to pursue the Art of Book Illustration. She has illustrated numerous stories to amazing authors all over the world.
